Last week I attended the British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP) South East Region Awards 2011 which were held at Tattershall Castle on the Victoria Embankment, London. It was the most glorious bright and crisp sunny winter’s day with fabulous views over the river Thames just across from the London Eye - a wonderful setting. The competition attracts entries from professional members from the South East region in a range of categories.
I was delighted to achieve recognition for two of my images in two categories – I was awarded a silver award for my ‘Bed’ image in the abstract/illustrative category and a merit award for my portrait of Natalya in the People & Portraiture category.
